Favorite little grocery store. Not a chain, has more brands to select from than Wegmans. Love the bakery and deli, meat department.

I cannot believe my experience at Green Hills Farms. They are so customer friendly. I don’t think I would want to shop anywhere else when I’m in the area near them. Yesterday I asked where the sardines were from an employee who was stocking in a different part of the store and she walked me all the way over to where they were and pointed them out to me.. I am almost 80 years old and that kind of service isn’t available everywhere. Then today I called the store to ask if I could borrow a cart to walk on the street as I was in an auto accident last November and really haven’t walked more than a few hundred feet since. Monica, the manager, said that they have plenty of carts and that it would be OK for me to borrow one of them to walk back-and-forth from where I am staying, 3/4 miles away, over the next few days. How customer friendly is that?

They have top notch products, especially their meats. Their bakery has delicious breads, rolls, pasties, and cookies. Their donuts are the best in Syracuse and surrounding areas. There is no comparison! The deli and hot food area also are an A+. Produce are always fresh and have a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Green Hills has been an integral part of my life growing up to present!

I came down to get some slice roast beef lunch meat I noticed the slice machines had ,buildup of older meat I asked deli worker, to please sanitize the slice machine because I do not want to taste cross-contaminated meat,he told me that this is not a culture deli my response was so you're telling me is what I see is what I get , I'm very disappointed to know that Green Hill deli workers would treat a loyal long time customer in such a way, deli workers need to be retrained for safety and cleanliness, the most of all customer service 5/28/2026 at about noon time 😭
